BitMex, a cryptocurrency trading platform, recently announced that it will be paying all of its traders bitcoins to anyone who has bitcoin balances at the 7th of September 2017 (in about 10 minutes time) – this is the BitMex Bitcoin Referral Program.

The current price of Bitcoin is $7,932. This is quite high, considering that in January of this year it was around $1,000. However, as the year progresses, the price of Bitcoin is only going to get higher. In fact, there is a lot of evidence suggesting that Bitcoin will be $100,000 before 2020. In addition, there is a lot of new cryptocurrency coming out all the time. So, could Bitcoin go to $100,000? Probably not, but it could go way higher.

BitMEX, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, announced that it will use the proceeds from its initial coin offering (ICO) to fund the development of the world’s first ever Bitcoin-based digital asset product. The company will establish a wholly-owned subsidiary called “BitMEX Cayman, Inc.”, to manage the token offering. It will be the first time ever that a cryptocurrency exchange will issue its own token.. Read more about smoon crypto and let us know what you think.

BitMEX to Send Bitcoin to The Moon An asset price hike to the moon is not uncommon in the cryptocurrency market. But now cryptocurrency exchange BitMEX is planning to do it literally with bitcoin (BTC). In partnership with space robotics company Astrobotic, the exchange will mint a unique bitcoin and place it on the moon. A commemorative coin will be worth one bitcoin. The name of the mission, the creator (BitMEX), the date of extraction and the price of BTC at the time of extraction are displayed. The play will look just like the Casascius plays of 2013, and its address will be published. Astrobotic plans to launch its first commercial lander, Peregrine-1, in the fourth quarter. We plan to send it to the moon in the second quarter of 2020. Bitmex says the payload has an official place in the manifesto. This will be the first bitcoin in history to land on the lunar surface, with photographic evidence. Bitmex CEO Alex Hoeptner also had something to say about his main competitor who wants to put crypto-currencies on the moon – SpaceX founder Elon Musk : A Dogecoin supporter (DOGE) recently stated that he plans to send Dogecoin to the moon. We have nothing against Dog Money, we thought it was right to help Bitcoin break through. Elon Musk tweeted that he wanted to send the DOGE to the moon. SpaceX also plans to launch a dogecoin-powered DOGE-1 mission in the first quarter of 2022.

Peregrine Mission One

The Peregrine-1 mission will take 28 unmanned payloads to the moon, including 14 from NASA. Astrobotic, based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, announced last month that it had won a $79.5 million contract from NASA to deliver payloads to a lunar vehicle in July. According to the company, the 28 payloads represent 8 different countries and cover resource development, scientific research, technology demonstration, exploration, marketing, arts and entertainment. John Thornton, CEO of Astrobotic, commented on the agreement with NASA: Today is a historic day for Astrobotic and the commercial lunar market.

BitMEX

BitMEX is a crypto currency and derivatives platform based in Seychelles. The exchange only processes prices in BTC. BitMEX was recently in the news for promising to become carbon neutral, starting by offsetting emissions from withdrawals by donating at least $0.0026 for every $1 in blockchain fees. In 2019, the CFTC opened an investigation into BitMEX for allowing U.S. traders to use the exchange. A scholarship cannot do this without registering with the TCRC. In October 2020, Arthur Hayes, founder of BitMEX, and two other executives, Benjamin Delo and Samuel Reed, were indicted by the U.S. Department of Justice for violating the Bank Secrecy Act and conspiring to violate it. All three will be tried in the United States in March.

DOGE-1 deployment

While there are no plans for Dogecoin miners aboard the spacecraft, the DOGE-1 mission benefits from strong participation in crypto-currency: This is the first commercial moonload to be paid for entirely in cryptocurrencies. The mission will use SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket to deliver a 40-kilogram Cubosat, designed by GEC of Alberta, KS, to collect data from the moon.At the recent BitMEX Conference in Hong Kong, the exchange announced plans to launch a new fund (the BitMEX Bitcoin Liquid Fund) that would be the first of its kind: a fund that holds Bitcoin and uses derivatives to gain exposure to crypto-assets, and when performance is better than the benchmark (see below) it will buy Bitcoin and send it to the moon. The fund will be offered to accredited investors.. Read more about safemoon and let us know what you think.
