Polygon, the Ethereum-based blockchain startup, has launched a new tool to aid in the collection and analysis of transactions on the network. PolygonScan is a cutting-edge platform that allows for the efficient collection of transactions on the Ethereum network.

The result of a collaborative effort between Etherscan and Polygon, PolygonScan is a tool that uses the Ethereum blockchain to get a more accurate and detailed breakdown of specific transactions on the Ethereum network.  As with most tools, PolygonScan was designed to complement and enhance existing tools, in this case Etherscan. After all, the Ethereum network is still very young, and it still has a lot of interesting aspects to uncover.

In the world of cryptocurrency, there are countless block explorers that provide a wealth of information on the blockchain. Some cater to a specific chain, while others are cross-chain. However, there is a new player in the block explorer market, a one that is not based on a platform, but rather, one that is based on a PoS system called Polygonscan. Polygonscan is a complete blockchain explorer that offers complete transparency and accurate data on the blockchain, while its makers, Etherscan, have announced that they are releasing it to the public.

Makers Of Etherscan Release PolygonScan To Offer Accurate Blockchain Data On Polygon PoS Chain Singapore, Singapore, 9. June 2021, PolygonScan, a full blockchain finder for the Polygon PoS chain, has released the first version of its highly anticipated product. The platform is based on the popular Etherscan Explorer and was developed by the same team. Etherscan.io is one of the most popular explorers for Ethereum and offers the most comprehensive dataset, enabling everything from support for ERC-20 and ERC-721 tokens, transaction tracking, contract reading and calling, to advanced features like gas trackers and developer APIs. Etherscan is aimed at both ordinary users and developers, and demonstrates unprecedented flexibility for the blockchain researcher. The same technology will now support Polygon’s PoS blockchain, giving users and developers a rich environment to interact with the blockchain. Activity on Polygon has steadily increased over the past two months, as more than 400 dApps and DeFi projects have decided to deploy on Ethereum’s high-performance sidechain. Polygon’s higher throughput already has four times as many daily transactions as Ethereum, at 7 million, but it is far from reaching its performance limit. Polygon fully supports EVM and offers virtually the same development environment as Ethereum, allowing developers to easily port their contracts. While most Ethereum tools support Polygon out of the box, existing blockchain explorers don’t have the wealth of features as PolygonScan offered. We are very pleased to have the support of the Etherscan team, whose expertise in creating effective and useful blockchain researchers is clearly unique in this field, said Mihajlo Bjelic, co-founder of Polygon. I expect PolygonScan to quickly become the most used block explorer in our growing PoS chain, complementing the Ethereum-enabled tool stack. On theseries Polygon is the first well-structured and easy-to-use platform for scaling and developing Ethereum infrastructure. The core component is the Polygon SDK, a modular and flexible framework that enables the creation and connection of secure chains such as Plasma, Optimistic Rollups, zkRollups, Validium, etc. and standalone chains such as Polygon POS, designed for flexibility and independence. Polygon’s scale solutions have been widely adopted with 400+ dapps, ~200M txns and ~1.3M+ unique users.
