Crypto brings innovation to the hospitality industry and facilitates payments

Richard Kessler, president and CEO of The Kessler Collection, believes that digital currencies are one of the most innovative concepts in the hotel industry today.

I think only cryptocurrencies are accepted, and the partnership with Bitpay allows us to offer more options in the payment process, the Kessler CEO said. Sonny Singh, chief commercial officer of Bitpay, explained that cryptocurrency payments bring more convenience and less friction to the travel industry.

Bitcoin payments are cheaper than credit cards and make it easier for foreign travelers to make payments. Kessler Collection is one of the leading luxury hotel groups and is very innovative and serves its customers by enabling them to pay in bitcoins and cryptocurrencies, Singh added.

The announcement states that each hotel will email an invoice to their guests so they can easily pay with BTC, BCH, ETH, DOGE, USDC, BUSD, GUSD and PAX. Officials at Kessler Collection believe the cryptographic payment concept will save hotel guests a lot of time.

This makes it easier for customers to travel the world, both in terms of saving time when exchanging local currency and in terms of saving money through a lower exchange rate, said Frawi Collazo, CFO of Kessler.
